The Royal Australian Mint's "Lunar Investment Series" is a world renowned bullion coin series, released annually, it is always a popular choice amongst investors. Celebrating the Lunar Year of the Dragon, this is the fifth release by the Royal Australian Mint’s Lunar Investment Series.
The 2024 Lunar Dragon Silver Coin is very limited in mintage with only 50,000 worldwide.
The reverse displays a detailed dragon surrounded by clouds - a symbol of luck and good fortune. The inscriptions “YEAR OF THE DRAGON” and the traditional Chinese character for dragon are evident on the coin, as well as, the coins weight and fineness.
The obverse of each coin highlights the Lunar calendar wheel, rotated so that the dragon is shown at the top. It also features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark, including her reign dates, monetary denomination and 2024 year date.
